Eddie and Jess are passionate about aviation and dedicated to helping people achieve their dreams.
Why Red Dog?
Red Dog Helicopters was born out of a shared desire to support aspiring pilots. We observed the high demand for helicopter training in remote areas and the barriers posed by work commitments and rising living costs; so we decided to alleviate these challenges by delivering training where it’s needed most.
We also enjoy the freedom that comes with being self-employed.. meeting new people and getting to travel to different locations are just some of the perks!
Inside Work…
Eddie
Eddie is 28 years old and has been flight instructing for over 7 years. Along with his Instructor Rating, he holds Grade 1, Low-Level and Sling Operations Training Endorsements. He also holds an Examiner Rating, which means he is approved to conduct your final flight test for a licence, rating or endorsement.
Before helicopters, Eddie worked on boats so is not afraid of a bit of hard yakka, likes a good laugh and loves his fishing.
Most importantly, he loves to see people succeed and acheive their goals which feeds his undeniable passion for flight training.
Jess
I bring a wealth of experience to the team, having worked in corporate training, firefighting, and successfully owning and managing an award-winning photography business. My initial introduction to aviation came from working around aircraft while firefighting and then at a large reputable flight school, where I served as the Operations Coordinator.
I always try and go above and beyond for our clients; ensuring I am there to support them through each step of their aviation journey.
Outside Work…
Whilst we both take our roles in this business very seriously and pride ourselves on being honest, reliable and organized.. Outside of work is a totally different story. We enjoy packing up the caravan and travelling with our 2 dogs Molly & Lua. There is never a dull moment and it’s usually a chaotic shit show. Whilst many of our friends come from the country, we love the beach and everything that comes with it.
